A.T.L.A.N.T.A.

I'm going home, and there just couldn't be anything more wonderful then that!!! I'm so excited! So, to sum up my overall feelings for the day...

I. AM. ELATED.

(or at least until I hit the 75/85 Connector)

Also, I would like to wish my Daddy a very HAPPY 60th BIRTHDAY! I love you, and I can't wait to see you very soon!

When I open my eyes I will be...

IN CABO!
Unfortunately... it did not work... my toes are not in the sand... the smell of salt is not in the air... the lulling sounds of the ocean are not in my ear... and there is no perfectly salted margarita in my hand. Have you ever just wanted to go somewhere so bad... if you have then you understand how I'm feeling. I. NEED (not want). TO. GO. TO. CABO. I so desperately want to sit at a bar, in a pool, with the breeze blowing through my hair, and sipping a drink that tastes as pretty as it looks! To make matters worse... I feel like everyone is going to Cabo... and they are all somehow managing to leave me behind... not in Cabo. So, to sum it up a little south of the border vacation is calling my name. I guess that the pool at my apartment will have to be my "Cabo" for the weekend. One day.

If my life had a soundtrack...

You know how there are those moments in the movies where the music in the background goes perfectly with what the character doing? Like the perfect sad song after loosing a love interest, a proactive song when they are getting their little movie created mess together, and the best happy, lift you up song during an awesome montage of the characters "happily ever after" at the end. You know what I am talking about... and if you are like me you have wished more than once before that your life could have an expertly placed sound track to follow you throughout your ups and downs.

Anyways... if my life had a sound track "Georgia On My Mind" would be playing (or any other song that mentions Georgia... which by the way any time a song mentions Georgia it makes me like just a little bit more... I can't help it). This wonderful song would be floating along in the background as I sit at my desk... so EXCITED to go HOME! Yay for tomorrow.... I'll be on that midnight train to Georgia (sorry I couldn't resist). See you in Atlanta!
