A rare visitor came down south...
SNOW!!!
Not only did snow venture all the way down South... it dared to even come all the way to Mobile, AL.
I realized that I truly am in the DEEP South on Thursday when, coworkers of mine were running outside and yelling "IT'S SLEETING!" So, when you are excited about sleet, and talk of work and schools closing starts swirling, the concept of snow is just beyond excitement! By the way by the time Thursday afternoon rolled around I welcomed the news that this wintery weather friend came bearing a gift...
NO WORK ON FRIDAY!
Which ended up meaning that I got a five... yes a five day weekend thanks to a little snow and MARDI GRAS! (post to come later about that excitement)
For those of you who may not believe this against nature occurrence on February 12, 2010... I have video proof.
